It’s TOMATO TIME in Tennessee!

For the sixth year, East Nashville will be enjoying a signature event this weekend! The TOMATO ART FEST, brainchild of Art and Invention Gallery’s Meg McFadyen and the pride of the Eastside, kicks off this week and culminates in the festival proper on Saturday, August 8 with a Second Line Parade, Tomato Bazaar, a West African Drum Circle, Tomato Haiku Contest, Tomato Soup Recipe Contest, and Bloody Mary Competition. There will be live music all day long, and yours truly will be emcee-ing the stage for a portion of the day.
Voted Best Festival (take THAT, Bonnaroo!) in Tennessee by the Nashville Scene for the past two years, the Tomato Art Fest is one of the many beautiful things that make our corner of the world utterly unique.
